Single, 'M40'-pattern WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap: 'Uffz. der Nachrichten-Trpn.'
Category:
This is a neat - albeit regrettably single! - (I deem) early-war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured branchcolour as intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Nachrichten-Truppen' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the army signal-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. just minimally worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length as more often seen - has the woolen-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these early-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - shows the (typical) silverish toned (ie. non-sub-dued) NCO-braid attached and comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'!, M40-pattern NCO-type 'Nachrichten'-shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Nachrichten-Truppen'!
