Pair of WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Trpn.'
Category:
The attractive - and with certainty quite unusually seen! - pair of WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboards is neatly piped in the typical darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage by a junior-officer holding the rank of a: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' (or: lieutnant who served within a mountain-troopers-regiment or unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem hardly used- nor worn-), condition. The boards have the (somewhat sub-dued) silverish-coloured 'upperdecks' and were most certainly used onto a 'front-used' tunic (as can be noticed on the pictures). The boards show the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical 'smooth'-type wool as to be expected). The boards - which never had any pips nor cyhers attached - come mounted onto their functional (typically smaller-sized) tongues attached and measure approximately 10,2 cms. in length each. The pair shows some minimal age and/or wear and was recently found at a German private-household and was never before on collectors-hands. Simply an attractive - and desirable! - WH (Heeres), officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Jäger- o. Gebirgsjäger-Truppen' and that will be hard to be upgraded!
