This is an attractive - fully matching, quite desirable and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. evt. pre-) war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier einer Infanterie-Regiments' (or: NCO ie. junior-sergeant who served within an army-infantry regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which are approximately 11 cms. sized in length each - do show the darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and show the 'standard'-pattern, silver-toned (and somewhat tarnished) NCO-braid, period-attached. The straps show the neat 'silk-like'-type piping and came mounted onto their functional tongues as to be expected. They show as stated above fair usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). This pair originates from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier einer Infanterie-Regiments'!
