Fully matching - and actually rarely found! - WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard-pair: 'Leutnant u. E-Offizier der Panzer-Trpn.'
Category:
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually very rarely encountered! - neatly 'cyphered', pair of WH (Heeres-Panzer) officers'-type shoulderboards having the bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant u. E-Offizier der Panzer-Truppen' (or: technical lieutnant who served within a specific tank-related train-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem simply never used- nor once-tunic-attached-), condition. The neat shoulderboards which are approximately 11,6 cms. sized in length each and that are (for 'Panzer-Truppen' unusually!) piped in the bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected. Both boards show a neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: regular-sized) so-called: 'Pz'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for a junior-officer who held the rank of a: 'Leutnant u. E-Offizier der Panzer-Truppen'. The (rarely seen!) devices shows some minimal age and/or tarnish but are still very nicely preserved. The straps never had a tongue attached (they are typical specimen of the so-called: 'sew-in'-type) and do show some minimal age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply a very attractive 'Heeres- ie. Panzer'-related officers'-type shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant u. E-Offizier der Panzer-Truppen': only the first such rare pair that I ever had on offer!
