Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards as (dual)piped in the pink-coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Leutnant der Res. des Pz-Jäger-Rgts. 47'

The attractive - neatly 'cyphered'! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type pair is neatly (dual)piped in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour and has the typical dove-grey-coloured 'underlay' (ie. secondary branchcolour) and was as such intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Reserve des Panzer-Jäger-Regiments 47' (or: reserve-lieutnant who served within the anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyer regiment, numbered: '47') and comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Panzer- o. Panzerjäger'-shoulderboards and have the silverish-grey-coloured (ie. somewhat sub-dued) 'upperdecks' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The boards show the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured coloured branchcolour (and have the typical dove-grey-coloured 'underlay' ie. 'Zwischenfarbe'): they were constructed from the typical 'smooth'-type wool as to be expected. The boards - that came with a set of silver-toned, so-called: 'screw-on' tunic-buttons (ie. 'Schraubknöpfe') attached - never had any tongues attached and were intended for - and used! - as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards measure approximately 11 cms. in length each and were most certainly issued- and/or worn as such and do show moderate age, wear and/or staining as to be expected. The pair - that was recently found at a German private-household - shows a fully matching set of (Gothic-styled, neatly bright-golden-toned, Buntmetall-based, larger-sized and/or identical) so-called: 'P'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and a set of (identically-styled and also larger-sized) '4'- and/or: '7'-numerals, period-attached. All 6 devices are just minimally stained- ie. tarnished but have preserved a fine and fairly bright- (and/or quite shiny!) age-patina. Simply an attractive WH (Heeres) officers-pattern shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant der Reserve des Panzer-Jäger-Regiments 47'!
