This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard having the (bright!) pink-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant eines Panzerschützen-Regiments' (or: lieutnant who served within a specific tank- ie. tank-gunners regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem hardly used nor worn- and/or I deem never tunic-attached-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 11,2 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: larger-sized) so-called: 'S'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for a junior-officer who held the rank of a: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant). The device shows some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but is still very nicely preserved. The strap never had a tongue attached (it is a specimen of the 'sew-in'-type) and does show some minimal age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres', officers'-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Leutnant eines Panzerschützen-Regiments': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
