Single, WH (Heeres) EM-type 'cyphered' (ie. 'M40- o. M41'-pattern) shoulderstrap: 'Unteroffizier des Nachschub-Abtlgs. 6'
Category:
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early-period ie. so-called: 'M40 o. M41'-pattern, 'cyphered'- and or bright-blue-piped, NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for - and worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Nachschub-Abteilungs 6' (or: junior-sergeant and presumably driver who served within the army transport-unit, numbered: '6') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 11,5 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) toned and/or woolen-based piping attached. The strap shows the silver-toned NCO-brais attached and shows a neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-) so-called: '6'-cypher ie. numeral. This 'cypher' is executed in the bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its period-tongue - shows as stated above just minimal usage and/or wear and is just minimally stained. It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related EM-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Nachschub-Abteilungs 6'!
