Single, WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard: 'Major des Panzer-Rgts. 7'
Category:
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - neatly 'cyphered', higher-ranked officers'-type shoulderboard having the (bright!) pink-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Major des Panzer-Regiments 7' (or: major who served within a specific tank regiment, numbered: '7') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used ie. worn- and/or I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 10 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based and/or: regular-sized) so-called: '7'-numeral (ie. 'Ziffer') period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for a senior-officer who held the rank of: 'Major' (ie. major). The device shows some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but is still nicely preserved. The strap came mounted onto its (smaller-sized) tongue attached (and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' and fairly high-ranked officers'-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Major des Panzer-Regiments 7': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
