Superb - scarcely encountered and fully matching! - pair of 'cyphered' WH (Kriegsmarine) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Küsten-Artillerie-Abtlgs.'

This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually not that often seen! - pair of 'cyphered'- (and I deem typically early- ie. mid-war-period-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps as was specifically intended for usage on the field-grey-coloured navy-style tunics by an NCO holding the (unusual!) rank of an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Küsten-Artillerie-Abteilungs' (or: sergeant and officers-candidate serving within a naval, coastal-artillery unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which are fully 'text-book' in all facets and that measure approximately 10,7 cms. in length each (and have a width of 5,6 cms. as usually seen) have a field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and comes mounted onto their functional tongues. The straps show the typical (golden-toned) KM-pattern NCO-braid attached and show the neat interwoven 'dual-anchor'-cyphers (as executed in golden-yellow-coloured linnen) denoting the NCOs rank of an: 'Unterfeldwebel'. Moreover, do they show a pair of (identically-styled and double!) loops (ie. 'Laschen') attached denoting that the NCO who wore this pair was an: 'Offiziers-Anwärter' (or officers-candidate). Of interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair came with a pair of field-grey-toned and firmly-attached so-called: anchor-buttons (ie. 'Uniformknöpfe') attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). The straps shows some moderate age and/or wear and come mounted onto their period tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that ALL 'Küsten-Artillerie' insignia-pieces are actually quite hard to encounter: those 'cyphered' examples even more so, which grades them easily as 'scarce'. Simply an attractive, neatly 'cyphered', naval NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair as was intended for an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Küsten-Artillerie-Abteilungs' that was intended for usage on the field-grey-coloured attire: one of the best such pairs I ever had on offer!
