Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (KM ie. 'Küsten-Artillerie') 'cyphered' officers'-type shoulderboards (as was specifically intended for uage on the field-grey-coloured tunics) as intended for a: 'Oberleutnant eines Küsten-Art.-Abtlgs.'

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily- ie. scarcely encountered! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Kriegsmarine ie. 'Küsten-Marine o. Küsten-Artillerie') officers'-type shoulderboards (as was specifically intended for uage on the field-grey-coloured tunics) as was piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant eines Küsten-Artillerie-Abteilungs' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within a naval coastal-artillery unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Küstenartillerie'-type shoulderboards and have the greyish-silver- (ie. somewhat sub-dued) 'upperdecks'. The boards show the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical smooth-type wool as to be expected). The boards came mounted onto their functional (smaller-sized) tongues and show a matching pair of (I deem 'Feinzink'-based, bright-golden-toned and somewhat tarnished) so-called: 'winged-shell'-cyphers or: 'Ziffern' and a pair of (regular-sized and equally-styled) pips period-attached (denoting the rank of an: 'Oberleutnant') as can be seen on the pictures. The boards measure approximately 11 cms. in length each as more often and do show an interesting pair of (golden-yellow-toned, braid-based) 'Laschen' firmly-attached. These 'standard'-pattern, naval officers'-type shoulderboards were specifically intended for usage on the field-grey KM-attire. Simply an attractive 'Küstenartillerie'-related shoulderboard-pair that was intended for an: 'Oberleutnant eines Küsten-Artillerie-Abteilungs'!
