This is a neat - albeit regrettably single! - officers'-type shoulderboard having the bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann eines Nachschub-Abteilungs' (or: captain who served within a specific army transport-unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used ie. worn- and/or I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 11 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a pair of pips (zinc-based, tarnished golden & regular sized) pips period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for an officer who held the rank of a: 'Hauptmann' (ie. captain). The attached devices show some obvious age and/or minimal tarnish. The strap comes mounted onto its (thin-shaped) tongue attached and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' officers'-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann eines Nachschub-Abteilung': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
