Superb pair of neatly cyphered, mid- (ie. later-war-) period (ie. 'M43'-pattern), WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Oberfeldwebel des Grenadier-Rgts. 73' (part of the '19. Grenadier-Div.')

This is a truly very attractive - and as such actually scarcely encountered! - fully matching pair of (typical) mid- (ie. somewhat later-) war-period- (ie.: 'M43'-pattern), WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the neat bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Grenadier-Regiments 73' (part of the '19. Grenadier-Division') (or: senior-NCO ie. sergeant first-class who served within the army infantry-related rifle-unit ie. regiment, numbered: '73') and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem clearly issued- and/or moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which each measure approximately 11,6 cms. in length as more often - have the period-altered- ie. attached(!), 'standard-pattern'- and/or typical, darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and come naturally mounted onto their original tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The NCO who wore this pair had the 'upperdecks' altered in order to show senority (something that was more often done). The pair was moderately worn and comes as found and/or stored for decades: it does show some moderate age, wear and/or staining. The shoulderstraps - which show the neat and desirable, bright-green- (ie. 'hellgrüner'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached - show the silverish-coloured- (ie. non-'sub-dued', early- ie. 'dotted'-pattern) NCO-braid and two pairs of (fully matching, smaller-sized and I deem aluminium-based) '7'- and/or: '3'- numerals (ie. cyphers or: 'Ziffern') and four (regular-sized and also aluminium-based) pips period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore these straps held the rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel' (or sergeant first-class). Simply an attractive - and very desirable! - pair of mid-war-period, so-called: 'M43'-pattern-shoulderstraps as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Grenadier-Regiments 73': with certainty one of the most attractive, 'cyphered' and 'Grenadiere'-related, NCO-shoulderstrap-pairs I had on offer for quite some time!
