This is a truly attractive - clearly used and/or fully matching! - typical mid-war-period, so-called: 'M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Pionier-Truppen' (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served within the army engineer-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each as more often seen - have the neat (and desirable!) black-toned (ie. 'schwarzer') and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these mid-war-period shoulderstraps). The straps show the (typical) bluish-grey-coloured (ie. truly sub-dued) NCO-braid and a matching pair of (regular-sized and aluminium-based) pips attached and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the NCO who wore these straps was (in my opinion) 'front-promoted' from 'Unteroffizier' to 'Feldwebel' (something that can be easily corroborated by the fact of the later-added pieces of silver-toned NCO-braid as can be noticed on the pictures). It should be noted that all 'M43'-pattern, 'Pioniere'-NCO-type shoulderstrap-pairs are actually quite hard to find and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'! - M43-pattern NCO-type 'Pioniere'-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Pionier-Truppen'!
