Single, mid- (ie. early-) war-period, WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for - and worn by! - an: 'Unterwachtmeister eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Rgts.'

The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 10,5 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or typical field-grey-coloured- and/or: woolen-based 'upperdeck' and shows the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or: desirable 'silk-like'-type branchcolour (ie. piping), attached. The strap was (I deem) only minimally used- and/or worn and does show only minimal staining and/or age mainly caused by decades of storage only (the strap is, however, fully void of any damage as can be seen on the pictures). The strap comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue and has the neat 'standard-issued'-type, bluish-grey-coloured (ie. 'sub-dued') 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid period-attached denoting the NCOs'-rank of an: 'Unterwachtmeister o. Unteroffizier' (ie. junior-sergeant). Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive and/or fully 'text-book', M40- ie. M43-styled-, NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unterwachtmeister eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Regiments': too bad that it is only a single example!
