This is an attractive - and I deem hardly ie. never used- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterklappen für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe') as was piped in the light- ie. rust-brown- (ie. 'hell- o. kupferbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der LW-Nachrichten-Truppen' (or: NCO and/or sergeant who served within the LW signal-troops) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem hardly used- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'), condition. The straps - which measure approximately 12,5 cms. in length each - show the (typical) LW- ie. 'dotted'-pattern NCO-braid and a pair of (regular-sized, zinc-based) pips period-attached have the rayon-type piping attached and are totally void of any age nor wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps never had any tongues attached and were most certainly intended as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern: moreover, are they entirely constructed from so-called: 'boiled-wool': I therefore deem that this pair is a typical 'privately-purchased' pair that originates from a tailor-shop or alike. It has been some time that I had an equally nicely preserved, NCO-type 'LW-Nachrichten'-shoulderstrap-pair on offer!
