Pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', 'M40'-pattern (privately-purchased) NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Rgts. 76'
Category:
This is an attractive - just moderately used- abeit nevertheless not that easily found and/or truly fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') having the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 76' (or: senior-NCO ie. sergeant first-class who served within the infantry-regiment, numbered: '76') and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 10 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern', darker-green-coloured- and/or (smooth)woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and woolen-type pattern piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps have the greyish-silver-coloured (ie. non-dued-pattern) NCO-braid attached and do show two matching sets of (identical, smaller-sized and/or typical zinc-based) so-called: '7'- and '6'-cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern') and two pairs of (smaller-sized- and zinc-based) pips, period-attached. All eight devices are nicely preserved but do show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair came mounted onto its original (smaller-sized) tongues and does just show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining only. The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - are a typical non-'standard-issued'- (ie. privately-purchased-) pair (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fairly early- (ie. mid-) war-period - 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 76': I deem that I have priced this very attractive 'Infanterie'-related pair, accordingly!
