This is an attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless very desirable and just moderately worn- and/or used! - WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap (as was specifically intended to be used on the black-coloured, 'wrap-around'-styled Panzer-tunics!) that shows the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached and that was as such worn by a soldier holding the rank of a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied einer Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Schützen-Regiments' (or: private who served within an army cavalry- ie. reconnaisance regiment or unit). The strap is in all facets a fully 'text-book' (and I deem somewhat early- ie. mid-war-period) EM-type strap and does show the minimal signs of having been used and/or worn as such. The shoulderstrap - that measures approx. 11,8 cms. in length as more often encountered - has the black-coloured 'upperdeck' and does show some moderate age simply caused by moderate wear and/or usage. The stra come mounted onto its regular-shaped tongue attached and does show a black-coloured 'underlay' (as can be noticed on the pictures). It should be noted that these original, period 'wrap-around'-pattern, EM-type shoulderstraps can nowadays easily be graded 'very scarce': even more so when they are piped in the not that commonly encountered, golden-yellow-coloured- (ie. 'Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Truppen'-related-) branchcolour. I deem that this attractive - and fully textbook! - WH (Heeres), NCO-type (and 'Panzer-related'!) shoulderstrap is with certainty accordingly priced!
