This is a very attractive - fully matching and with certainty truly scarcely found! - pair of (fairly early- ie. rounded-styled), neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern) shoulderstraps as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for a junior-NCO (ie. 'Unteroffizier') who served within the: 'Wehr-Ersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises VII' (or: army-NCO ie. junior-sergeant who was part of the recruitment-troops serving within the area of the 'Wehrkreis VII' (being a larger area of which its HQ was residing in the town of München) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem hardly ie. simply never used-), condition. The straps do just show some minimal wear, age and/or staining but are void of any real damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or rayon-type piping attached and measure approximately 12,4 cms. in length each. The pieces never had any tongues attached (they were intended to be used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern) and do show the (larger-sized, Gothic-styled) so-called: 'W'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and dito regular-sized (Roman-styled) 'VII'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') which are neatly hand-embroidered (as can be seen on the pictures). All four 'cyphers' are executed in the the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected. The pair - that also shows the silverish-toned NCO-braid attached - is constructed from the typical darker-green-coloured- and smooth-based wool and is I deem a 'privately-purchased'-pair that originated from a tailor-shop or alike (something that is also corroborated by the presence of an inventory-etiket on the back of one of the straps (as can be noted on the pictures). These type of shoulderstraps are of the fairly early-war-period-pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1939/1940 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). This particular pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered'-shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive - and with certainty very desirable! - 'cyphered', 'Wehrkreis'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier des Wehr-Ersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises VII'. I deem that I have priced this truly attractive NCO-type pair according to its desirabilty and overall very nicely preserved condition!
