This is a neat - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-war-) period, so-called: 'M36-/M40'-pattern- (rounded-styled- and neatly 'cyphered'- and white- ie. 'weisser'-piped) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for - and worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Infanterie-Regiments 47' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the army infantry unit ie. regiment numbered: '47') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 11,3 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the woolen-type piping attached (that shows some minimal moth-damage as can be noticed on the pictures). The strap shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-) so-called: '4'- and '7'-cyphers ie. numerals (which 'cyphers' are executed in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which comes mounted onto its functional tongue and that has the 'standard-pattern' and silver-coloured NCO-braid attached - shows as stated above only moderate usage and/or wear and is just minimally stained. It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the 'Infanterie-Regiment 47' was part of the: '22. (Luftlande-)Division' which division took part in the occupation of Holland in May 1940. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Infanterie-Regiments 47'!
