Single, early-period (ie. 'M40-pattern and/or rounded-styled), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat des Kradschützen-Bataillons 2 der Pz.- u. Inf.-Div.'

This is a truly attractive - very desirable albeit regrettably single but nevertheless exceedingly rarely found! - example of an early-period (ie. 'M40-pattern and/or rounded-styled and bright-pink- ie. 'rosaroter'-piped), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Kradschützen-Bataillons 2 der Pz.- u. Inf.-Div.' (or: simple soldier who served within the reconnaissance, motorcycle-battalion numbered: '2') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which is executed in the darker-green-coloured wool as to be expected - shows the bright-pink- ie. 'rosaroter'-coloured and woolen-type piping. The neat strap measures approximately 11 cms. in length and comes naturally mounted onto its original tongue. It shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'), Gothic-styled: 'K'-cypher (or: 'Ziffer') and/or: '2'-numeral attached (which are both executed in the bright-pink- ie. 'rosatoter'-coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected). The strap - which is of the typical 'standard-issued'-pattern - shows as stated above only minimal usage and wear (just some minimal age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). It should be noted that ALL 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-pattern, 'Kradschützen-Bataillonen'-type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'exceedingly rare' and come not that often for sale. This particular example originated from a small but wonderful collection of rare 'Panzer'-related shoulderstraps I recently acquired for the web-site. In any case is this a very attractive and early-war-period, 'Heeres-'Kradschützen-Bataillonen'-related, EM-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Kradschützen-Bataillons 2 der Pz.- u. Inf.-Div.': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
