Pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the bright-red-coloured branchcolour was intended for usage by an: 'Oberst eines Flak-Artillerie Rgts. o. Abtlgs.'

The attractive - and actually scarcely found! - WH (Luftwaffe) higher-ranked, officers'-type shoulderboard-pair is piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a higher-ranked LW-officer who served as an: 'Oberst eines Flak-Artillerie Regiments. o. Abteilungs' (or: full colonel ie. possibly commanding-officer within the anti-aircraft-branch). The pair was just moderately used and/or once tunic-attached and was clearly tunic-removed and comes in an overall nice (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the typical bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching (as can be seen on the pictures). The fairly 'shiny' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected with a typical Luftwaffe-related pair). The boards - that come mounted onto their typical, officers'-pattern tongues - are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 10,5 cms. in length each - show two matching pairs of the neat (golden-toned-, larger-sized- and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank of an: 'Oberst eines Flak-Artillerie Rgts. o. Abtlgs.'. The boards only show some minimal wear and storage-age but are void of any damage or alike. This pair originated from a small lot of 'cyphered' LW-straps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all higher-ranked LW-straps are quite hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and actually scarcely seen! - officers'-type LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for an: 'Oberst eines Flak-Artillerie Regiments. o. Abteilungs.'!
