Unusual - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war-period- (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and worn by! - a: 'Stabsfeldwebel eines (Nebel)Werfer-Rgts.'

This is an attractive - unusually seen, fully matching and with certainty scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres), early-war-period- (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern) so-called: 'standard-issued- ie. non-privately-purchased', NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as piped in the neat darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Stabsfeldwebel eines Nebelwerfer-Regiments' (or: senior- ie. company-sergeant who served within an army smoke-troops regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or smooth-woolen-based 'upperdecks' are 'textbook' in all facets. They show the neat darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured (and/or: desirable 'silk-like'-type!) piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps which measure approximately 10,5 cms. in length each come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. The shoulderstraps show the 'standard'-type, silverish-coloured (ie. non-'sub-dued') NCO-braid and six (matching, smaller-sized and/or zinc-based) pips period-attached denoting the (unusually seen!) NCOs-rank of a: 'Stabsfeldwebel' (ie. company-sergeant). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair was originally issued with field-grey-coloured 'upperdecks': the NCO had these period-altered and gave them darker-green-coloured 'upperdecks' (something that most certainly denoted early-entry and/or senority!). The straps show - as stated above - only moderate usage ie. wear (some age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a very attractive - and most certainly desirable! - NCO-type 'Nebelwerfer'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair for an (I deem) justified price!
