This is an attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless quite scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstrap (ie. 'Schulterstück für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Panzerjäger-Abteilungs o. Regiments 14' (or: sergeant who served within an anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyers' unit, numbered: '14') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and most certainly worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat strap - which has the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or 'smooth woolen'-based 'upperdeck' and that measures approximately 11,2 cms. in length - shows the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows a neat (greyish-silver-coloured, zinc ie. 'Feinzink'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: larger-sized) so-called: 'P'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer'), smaller-sized '1'- and/or '4'-numerals and equally-styled (and larger-sized) pip period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for an NCO who held the rank of an: 'Oberleutnant' (ie. lieutnant-first-class). All four devices show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but are still nicely preserved. The strap - that also shows the typical, silverish-grey-toned NCO-braid attached - comes mounted onto its functional tongue and just shows moderate wear and/or age; it is still nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this strap came with a silver-toned company-button attached (that shows the numeral: '1'). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat - and most certainly desirable! - NCO-type, Heeres 'Panzerjäger'-related shoulderstrap for a justified price!
