Pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the darker-green-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Leutnant des Gebirgsjäger Rgts. 99'

The very attractive - and I deem just minimally used and/or worn and carefully tunic-removed! - WH (Heeres) pair is piped in the typical darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a junior army-officer holding the rank of an: 'Leutnant des Gebirgsjäger Regiments 99' (ie. lieutnant who served within the moutain-troopers regiment, numbered: '99') and that comes in an overall nicely preserved condition. The attractive pair was most certainly issued and worn as such but comes, nevertheless, in an overall nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. 'moleskin'-like) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard-pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades and do show some age, wear and staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat boards - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show two matching pairs of the neat (golden-toned, older-styled and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based- and/or larger-sized) '9'-numerals ie. cyphers (or: 'Ziffern') period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of: 'Leutnant des Gebirgsjäger Regiments 99'. The straps come mounted onto their (typically smaller-sized) tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures). This pair originated from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant des Gebirgsjäger Regiments 99'!
