Single, WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40'-pattern- and neatly 'cyphered') shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied einer Ärztlichen Akademie'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40'-pattern- and neatly 'cyphered') shoulderstrap as piped in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied einer Ärztlichen Akademie' (or: senior-NCO ie. sergeant first-class who served within one of the army medical training-schools ie. 'Ärztlichen Akademien') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 10,2 cms. sized in length has the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' (and woolen-type piping!) and shows an (aluminum-based, Gothic-styled) so-called: 'A'-cypher (or: 'Ziffer') and two (regular-sized, copper-toned) pips, period-attached (its should be noted that the 'A'-cypher has been period-fortified by means of some stitching as can be noticed on pictures). The strap - which came mounted onto its functional tongue - shows as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. This strap - that came together with a field-grey-toned tunic- ie. company-button that shows the numeral '21' - originates from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied einer Ärztlichen Akademie'!
