Moderately worn pair of WH (Heeres), early-war-period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for - and worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Wachbatallions Berlin'

This is a truly attractive - fully matching and with certainty quite rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres), early-war period- (ie. so-called: 'M40'-pattern) and neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Wachbatallions Berlin' (or: sergeant- and/or infantry-NCO who served within the famous guard-batallion based as was based in the town Berlin) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' are textbook in all facets. They show the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- (and/or: woolen-type) piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues and come of course in a very nice condition, overall. The shoulderstraps show a matching pair of (silver-toned, Gothic-styled and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'W'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and a matching pair of (somewhat smaller-sized, equally styled) pips period-attached. Moreover, does the pair show the 'standard'-type, silverish-grey-coloured NCO-braid attached denoting the NCOs-rank of a: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). The straps show - as stated above - only moderate usage ie. wear (some age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present as can be seen on the pictures). This rare pair originated from an older and larger cloth- ie. insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem this a superb occasion to acquire a very attractive - and most certainly desirable! - NCO-type, 'Infanterie'- ie. 'Wachbatallion Berlin'-related shoulderstrap-pair: only the third such rare NCO-type pair in this particular rank ie. format that I have ever had on offer!
