This is a neat - and actually not that easily found! - single, WH (Heeres) early- (ie. pre-) war-period, so-called: 'M40'-pattern ('rounded'-styled), neatly 'cyphered' and white-piped NCO-type shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Ergänzungs-Regiments 1' (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served within the army-infantry replacement-regiment, numbered: '1') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The regular-shaped shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length - does show the darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the 'standard-issued'-pattern, silver-toned NCO-braid period-attached. The strap that has the woolen-type piping attached shows a neat (silver-toned, Gothic-styled, larger-sized- and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'E'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer'), a (smaller-sized, also 'Buntmetall'-based) '1'-numeral and a single (regular-sized- and I deem aluminium-based) pip, period-attached. All three devices are nicely preserved but do show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - that came mounted onto its functional tongue - came with an (unusually seen!) field-grey-toned, company-tunic-button that shows a capital 'A'-character - shows as stated above only minimal usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). This interesting shoulderstrap originates from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Ergänzungs-Regiments 1'!
