Pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', 'M40 o. M43'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Rgts. 344' (part of the '223. Inf.Div.')

This is a very attractive - just moderately used- abeit nevertheless not that easily found and/or truly fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') having the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 344' (being part of the '223. Infanterie-Division') (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served within the infantry-regiment, numbered: '344' being part of the infantry-division, numbered: '223') and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 11,2 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern', field-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and desirable 'silk-like'-pattern piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps have the bluish-grey-coloured (ie. truly sub-dued-pattern) NCO-braid attached and do show two matching sets of (identical, smaller-sized and/or typical zinc-based) so-called: '3'- and/or (double) '4'-cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern') and a (regular-sized- and aluminium-based) pips, period-attached. All eight devices are nicely preserved but do show some obvious age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair came mounted onto its original tongues and does just show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining only. The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - came with a pair of field-grey-toned tunic-buttons attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fairly early- (ie. mid-) war-period - 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 344' (being part of the '223. Infanterie-Division'): I deem that I have priced this very attractive 'Infanterie'-related pair, accordingly!
