Pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M40- o. M43'-pattern) shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Infanterie-Rgts.'

This is a truly attractive - fully matching and actually truly scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40- o. M43'-pattern, NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Infanterie-Regiments' (or: junior-NCO ie. sergeant and officers'-candidate who served within an army-infantry-regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 12 cms. in length each - have the 'standard-type'- and/or field-grey-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The straps - which have the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached - show the (typical) greyish-silver-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued') NCO-braid attached and do show each a (double-sized) slip-on (ie. 'Lasche') period- (and firmly!) attached (which are also neatly executed in the same pattern ie. styled NCO-braid) denoting that the NCO who wore this pair was an: 'Offiziers-Anwärter' ie. officers'-candidate (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which came mounted onto their functional tongues and that came with a pair of field-grey-coloured- and pebbled-style tunic-buttons attached - show as stated above only some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). This neat pair originates from a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors-hands. Simply an attractive and/or: early- ie. mid-war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unterfeldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter eines Infanterie-Regiments'!
