Pair of WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M40'- (ie. 'M43'-) pattern, EM-type shoulderstraps: 'Sld. der Inf.-Trpn.'

This is a truly attractive - and nowadays quite scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type, so-called: 'M40'- (ie. 'M43'-) pattern shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: simple soldier who served within an infantry-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The truly attractive straps - which that measure approximately 11,8 cms. in length each as more often encountered - have the 'standard-type'- and/or typical field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and show the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or (typical) woolen-type piping, attached. The straps were just moderately used- and/or worn and do show some obvious age, wear and staining (as can be seen on the pictures). They come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues and are in my opinion a typical, 'standard-issued'- (ie. non-privately-purchased') pair. It should be noted that these early- (ie. mid-) war-period 'Infanterie'-related EM-type shoulderstrap-pairs are with certainty not that easily encountered and can be graded 'fairly scarce'. This particular pair - which is as stated above fully matching and that was most certainly worn as such as a pair - originated from an older cloth- and/or shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive pair of early-war-period so-called: 'M40- (ie. 'M43'-) pattern' enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps that was intended for a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen'!
