Single, WH (Kriegsmarine) 'tropical-styled', 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstrap (as was specifically intended for usage on the KM-tropical-shirts ie. tunics) as was intended for a: 'Stabsoberfeldwebel'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single and somewhat moth-damaged but nevertheless truly scarcely seen! - WH (Kriegsmarine) 'tropical-styled'- and neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap (as was specifically intended for usage on the KM-tropical-shirts ie. tunics) as was intended for a naval-NCO holding the (unusally observed!) rank of: 'Stabsoberfeldwebel' (or: senior-sergeant) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly worn- ie. moderately used-), condition. The neat strap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length and that has a width of 5,5 cms. as more often seen - was with certainty used- and/or moderately worn. The strap - which is executed in the regular- (ie. slightly 'thicker'-styled- and/or typical tan-coloured) linnen - shows the (typical) darker-blue-coloured and linnen-based, tropical-naval-pattern NCO-braid attached (that shows some moth-damaged areas) and comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue. Moreover, does it show a bright-golden-toned so-called: anchor/feathers-'cypher' (ie. 'Ziffer') and three (identical, smaller-sized) pips period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of a: 'Stabsoberfeldwebel' (or: senior-sergeant). The piece orginates from an older and larger collection of single shoulderstraps that was compiled over decades and that I recently acquired for the web-site. The neat strap - that came with a field-grey-coloured, pebbled-styled button attached - shows some obvious age, wear and/or staining as to be expected. It should be noted that these attractive KM tropical-styled, NCO-type shoulderstraps can easily be considered 'rare' and come hardly ever for sale: even more so when they come in such a neat and/or moderately used- ie. worn, condition. Too bad that it is only a single example!
