This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that often seen! - (I deem) early-war-period pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for a: 'Wachtmeister des Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 34' (or: sergeant who served within a specific anti-aircraft-unit, numbered: '34') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately worn- ie. clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 12 cms. in length each - show the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour and have the 'rayon'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps that came without tongues were clearly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern (I deem that they were once attached to a so-called: 'Viertaschenrock' and are constructed from so-called: LW-officers'-type cloth). They show - next to the standard-pattern, 'dotted-styled', LW-pattern NCO-braid - two matching pairs of the neat (larger-sized, tarnished silver-toned and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: '3'- and/or '4'-cyphers (ie. numerals or 'Ziffern') and a pair of (identically styled, larger-sized) pips period-attached denoting that the pair was intended for usage by a: 'Wachtmeister des Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 34'. The straps show some clear age, wear and/or staining but are totally void of any damage or alike. This pair originated from a smaller lot of 'cyphered' LW-straps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' LW-straps are quite hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and not that often seen! - NCO-type, LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Wachtmeister des Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 34'!
