  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') officers'-type shoulderboards (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Offiziere des Reichsarbeitsdienstes') being the second pattern as was used in the period between 1936-41 and that comes mounted onto its unsually seen: 'Auf der Steg'-mounting as was specifically intended for an: 'RAD-Oberstfeldmeister' (which rank is comparable with the army-equivalent of: Hauptmann' ie. captain) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just minimally used- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat schoulderstraps have the typical, silver- (and interwoven) black-coloured 'upperdecks' and come mounted onto their black-coloured (and typical velvet-based) 'underlays' (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps measure approximately 11,3 cms. in length each and show each two (matching, golden-toned, regular-sized and somewhat tarnished) pips period-attached (denoting the officers-rank of an: 'RAD-Oberstfeldmeister'). The pair was recently found at a German private-household and shows - as stated above - just minimal wear and/or age but is tota;;y void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire a desirable (and actually hard to find!) 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'-related, officers-pattern shoulderboard-pari that was intended for usage by an: 'RAD-Oberstfeldmeister'!
