Single, WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard: 'Major eines Pionier-Rgts. o. Abtlgs.' and that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition

The attractive - regrettably single but simply never used nor worn! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard is piped in the typical black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, it was intended for usage by a fairly high-ranked officer holding the rank of a: 'Major eines Pionier-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (ie. major who served within an army enigineers unit). The attractive board was simply never used nor worn and comes in a truly 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition. The shoulderboard - which is constructed from the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - comes in an excellent condition overall and will be impossible to be upgraded (as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of the 'upperdeck' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard). The board is just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades and does show some age and staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat board - which measures approximately 11,2 cms. in length - never had any numerals ie. cyphers (or: 'Ziffern') nor pips attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of a: 'Major eines Pionier-Regiments o. Abteilungs'. The board never had a tongue attached and was clearly intended for usage as a board of the 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). It originated from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive, 'Heeres'-related officers'-type shoulderboard that was intended for usage by a: 'Major eines Pionier-Regiments o. Abteilungs'!
