  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

This is a neat - and/or fully matching! - pair of (early- ie. rounded-styled), 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) NCO- (ie. 'M40'-) pattern shoulderstraps as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and/or clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 7' (or: sergeant who served within the infantry-regiment numbered: '7') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately ie. clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The straps are moderately worn and do show some moderate wear, age and/or minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps have the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or (unusually thicker-styled!) rayon-type piping attached and measure approximately 10,6 cms. in length each. The pieces show the ('standard'- ie. regular-) type, bright-silver-coloured, NCO-braid and two (identical-, smaller-sized and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) pips period-attached and come mounted onto their functional tongues as to be expected. Next to this, they show a pair of (also identical-, early-pattern and aluminium-based) '7'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') period-attached. The straps - which were in my opinion privately-purchased and originated from a tailor-shop - were recently uncovered in Germany and were never before part of any collection: they show some minimal wear and/or usage (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive Heeres, 'privately-purchased', WH-'Infanterie'-related shoulderstrap-pair that beloged to a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 7' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
