Single - but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - WH (Luftwaffe) later-war-period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44- o. M45'-pattern-) EM-type shoulderstrap: 'Soldat der Nachrichten-Trpn.'

The attractive - and with certainty not that easily found! - WH (Luftwaffe) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap does show the desirable light- ie. rust-brown- (ie. 'hell- o. kupferbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der LW-Nachrichten-Truppen' (or: simple soldier who served within the LW signal-troops). The strap has the typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measures approximately 11 cms. in length and is clearly of the simplified. so-called: 'last-ditch'- (ie. 'M44 o. M45'-) pattern. The shoulderstrap is constructed from the (typical) bluish-grey-toned, later-war-type wool and comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue (as can be noticed on the pictures). The strap just shows some minimal age ie. wear and was clearly used and/or worn as such. It should be noted that these rust-brown- (ie. 'hell- o. kupferbrauner'-) piped- (thus signal-troops ie. 'Nachrichten'-related) and/or later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44- o. M45'-pattern-) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps are quite desirable and can easily be graded 'scarce' even more so when they come in such a nicely preserved condition as the strap on offer here!
