  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (singles)

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely seen! - (I deem) early- (ie. mid-war-) period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied eines Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: NCO ie. sergeant who served witin a tank-destroyer- ie anti-tank unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem clearly issued- and/or: just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length as more often seen - has the desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these early- (ie. mid-war-) period shoulderstraps). Next to the (typical) silverish NCO-braid does the piece show a neat (bright silver-coloured, zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: larger-sized) so-called: 'P'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and equally-styled, aluminium-based and/or larger-sized pip period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for an NCO who held the rank of a: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). Both devices show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but are both still nicely preserved. The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - comes mounted onto its functional tongue (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'! - 'M40- o. M43'-pattern, NCO-type 'Panzer o. Panzerjäger'-related shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel u. Mitglied eines Panzer- o. Panzerjäger-Abteilungs o. Regiments'!
