  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

This is a very attractive - matching and actually rarely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period, so-called: 'M36-/M40'-pattern- (rounded-styled) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 140' (or: NCO and junior-sergeant who served within the army mountain-troops regiment, numbered: '140') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The somewhat broader-shaped shoulderstraps - which are approximately 13,2 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdecks' and show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei') so-called: '1'-, '4'- and/or '0'-cyphers ie. numerals (or: 'Ziffern'). All six 'cyphers' are executed in the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which come naturally mounted on their functional tongues and that also shows the silverish-toned NCO-braid attached - show as stated above just moderately usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly rare'. Simply a very attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier des Gebirgsjäger-Regiments 140'!
