This is an attractive example of a (typical) WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) greenish-coloured- and/or 'standard-issue'-pattern so-called: 'Kragenbinde' (or: uniform inner-collar) a regular-issued- (and size ie. maker-marked) example that comes in a just moderately used- and/or worn, condition. The piece is executed in typical 'greenish'-coloured linnen: it hardly shows any wear nor age but does show some modetate and is just a tiny bit wrinkled. The piece - that comes complete with its period-attached (resin-based, greyish-coloured) closing-button - measures approximately 66 cms. in length (as more often). The piece is surely maker- (ie. size) marked, however, this ink-stamp is somewhat faded and impossible to decypher: it does show a period stitched III-numeral. Normally, all WH uniform jackets and/or tunics needed such a removable-collar that could be easily removed and washed upon need. Simply a neat - and most certainly desirable! - WH-equipment-item that will be hard to be upgraded!
