Single - but nevertheless scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres) mid-war-period- (ie. 'M40- o. M43'-pattern) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel eines Infanterie-Rgts. der “Grossdeutschland”-Division'

This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably single but but nevertheless very desirable and scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres) mid-war-period (ie. M40- o. 'M43'-pattern) and neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty used and worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel eines Infanterie-Regiments der “Grossdeutschland”-Division' (or: sergeant who served within an infantry-related unit within the “Grossdeutschland”-Division) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which has the 'standard'-pattern, field-grey-coloured- and/or: woolen-based 'upperdeck' - has the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length - comes mounted onto its functional tongue and comes as stated above in a very nice, ie. fully 'text-book'-condition overall. The strap is a clear example of a 'standard-issued'-pattern strap and shows a (silverish-toned, metal- ie. 'Buntmetall'-based ie. non-magnetic) so-called: 'GD'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and single (also 'Buntmetall'-based and smaller-sized) pip attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The GD-'cypher' retains both its prongs (as can be seen on the pictures). Next to this, has this strap the bluish-grey-toned (ie. truly sub-dued) NCO-braid attached denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Feldwebel' (or: sergeant). The strap shows - as stated above - only moderate usage ie. wear (just some moderate age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present) as can be seen on the pictures. In any case is this a neat occasion to acquire a very attractive and desirable NCO-type, 'M40- o. M43'-pattern and neatly 'cyphered', 'Infanterie'-related GD-shoulderstrap for a justified price!
