The shoulderstrap - which is piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length and has the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- (and/or typical 'silk-lik'-type) piping attached (as is more often encountered with these later-war-period straps). The attractive strap - that only shows minimal wear and that was in my opinion hardly used - is constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner', using different shades of wool and/or material. It comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue and shows the neat 'standard'-type, greyish-blue-coloured (ie. 'sub-dued') 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid and two (fully matching, smaller-sized- and/or zinc-based) pips period-attached denoting the NCOs'-rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel' (ie. sergeant first-class). It should be noted that all 'M44'-style, NCO-type straps are actually quite hard to encounter even more so when they are of the NCO-patten as this example on offer!
