Pair of WH (Heeres), 'cyphered' officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Eisenbahn-Pioniere-Abtlgs. 7'

This is an attractive - fully matching and as such actually very scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Eisenbahn-Pioniere-Abteilungs 7' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within an armoured-trains-related, engineers' unit ie. regiment numbered: '7') and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued and/or used- ie. minimally worn-), condition. The boards - which measure approximately 10,3 cms. in length have the somewhat 'sub-dued' silver-coloured 'upperdecks' - and do show some minor wear, age and/or minimal staining. The boards came mounted onto their period (smalled-sized) tongues. The boards show a matching pair of the neat (Gothic-styled, smaller-sized, bright-golden-toned and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'E'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), a pair of (equally-styled and smaller-sized): '7'-numerals and a pair of (regular-sized- and also 'Buntmetall'-based) pips period-attached, denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of an: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Eisenbahn-Pioniere-Abteilungs 7'. All six devices are - I deem - executed in 'Buntmetall'-based-metal and do show some minimal age ie. tarnish: they have, however, maintained a very attractive and truly 'frosted' appearance. Simply a very attractive - and most certainly desirable! - neatly 'cyphered', 'Eisenbahnpioniere'-related officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for an: 'Oberleutnant u. Mitglied des Eisenbahn-Pioniere-Abteilungs 7'!
