Neat - fully matching and moderately used! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. 'M36- o. M40'-pattern) neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 279'

This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) pre- (ie. early-) war-period so-called: 'M36- o. M40'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps having the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 279' (or: senior-sergeant who served within the army-infantry unit, numbered: '279') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly ie. moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11,3 cms. in length each and that are of the 'standard-issued'- (ie. non-privately-purchased-) pattern - have the 'standard-type'- and/or darker-green-coloured, woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping and do show the ('standard-issue'-pattern, silverish-grey-coloured) NCO-braid attached. The straps show two (regular-sized, zinc-based) pips and two sets of (also fully matching, smaller-sized and/or 'Buntmetall') '2'-, '7'- and/or: '9'-numerals (ie. cyphers or 'Ziffern') period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore this pair held the rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel' (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which never had any tongues attached and that was clearly intended for (and with certainty used as!) a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern - show as stated above some moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). Still an attractive and/or: pre- (ie. early-) war-period, 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 279' and that is I deem accordingly priced!
