Unusually seen - albeit regrettably single! - early- (ie. pre-) war-period WH (Heeres) 'M36 o. M40'-pattern, 'cyphered' EM-type shoulderstrap (being I deem of a private-production) as intended for a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Rgts. 15'

This is an unusually seen - albeit regrettably single! - early- (ie. pre-) war-period WH (Heeres) 'M36 o. M40'-pattern, 'cyphered' enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap (being I deem of a private-production) having the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or 'woolen'-type piping attached as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 15' (or: simple soldier who served within the infantry-regiment numbered: '15') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The strap - which measures 10,5 cms. in length - is fully 'text-book' in all facets and is executed in darker-green-coloured wool and having the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or 'woolen'-type piping attached. It never had tongue attached and was clearly used as a dress-type-strap of the sew-in-pattern: moreover, does it show the white-coloured '1'- and '5'-cyphers (ie. numerals or: 'Ziffern') which are both executed in neat hand-embroidery as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). These type of shoulderstraps are of the pre- (ie. early-) war-period, 'Ausgeh'-pattern and were (I deem) worn in the period around 1936/1940 but also saw usage in the early-war years. The strap only shows minimal wear and/or age and is just nicely preserved over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive early-period and neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 15' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
