Attractive - very desirable and fully matching! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Hauptmann des Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 7'

This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty desirable! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Hauptmann des Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 7' (or: army-captain who served within the infantry-related, machinegunners unit ie. regiment, numbered: '7') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used ie. worn and/or: clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderboards are constructed in the smooth-type (ie. 'moleskin'-like) wool and are per regulation piped in white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured wool. The boards - which have a length of approximately 11 cms. each - never had any tongues attached (and were with certainty intended and used as a pair of the sew-in-pattern (as can be noticed on the pictures). The boards have the neat 'bright-silver'-coloured (ie. somewhat 'shiny'-) 'upperdecks' and were as such (I deem) used on a typical 'dress'-type tunic. The boards show some minimal age ie. staining caused by years of storage and/or minimal wear and/or usage: they were most certainly worn and/or carefully tunic-removed. The boards show a matching pair of (golden-bronze-toned, smaller-sized- and/or Gothic-styled-) 'M'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), and also matching (smaller-sized and equally-styled): '7'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and four (equally styled!) pips period-attached: all eight devices show some minimal tarnish ie. wear and were board-attached BEFORE the straps were actually fully assembled. Simply a very attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Hauptmann des Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 7' and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
