This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - (I deem) WWI-period, EM-type ('pointed styled' and neatly 'cyphered') shoulderstrap having the white- (ie. weisser-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 4' (or: simple soldier who served within the army infantry-unit ie. regiment numbered: '4') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which is approximately 10,4 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or field-grey-coloured, smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and shows the white-coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached. The strap shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-) so-called: '4'-cypher ie. numeral which is executed in the white- (ie. weisser-) wool ie. linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which was clearly 'cut-of-a-tunic' an that came withouth tongue - shows as stated above moderate usage and/or wear and is just minimally stained. It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or: WWI-period, neatly 'cyphered' EM-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Infanterie-Regiments 4'!
