  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (singles)

This is an attractive - and as such actually scarcely encountered albeit regrettably single! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period WH (Heeres), 'M36- o. M40'-pattern (rounded-style) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstrap as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroterer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied einer Art.-Feuerwerker-Schule' (or: simple soldier who served within a specific, artillery-related artician ie. exposives-orderly school) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used and/or worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap has a darker-green-coloured and (smooth) woolen-based 'upperdeck' as to be expected and shows the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroterer'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap never had a tongue attached and was with certainty worn as a piece of the 'sew-in'-pattern. The strap measures 12,5 cms. in length and shows the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'), Gothic-styled: 'FS'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') attached which are executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured wool as to be expected. The strap - that I deem had once NCO-braid attached but that has been carefully removed) shows some moderate age and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible-/present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-type shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or early- (ie. pre-) war period, 'cyphered Heeres'-related EM- (ie. former NCO) shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied einer Art.-Feuerwerker-Schule': too bad that it is only a single strap!
