Fully matching medal-set: 'Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42' as produced by the: 'Foerster & Barth'-company being a clearly maker- (ie. '10'-marked) specimen that came stored in its original 'Zellstoff'-based pouch of issue as found
This is a very attractive specimen of a: 'Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42'-medal (ie. 'Ost'-medal) as was produced by the: 'Foerster & Barth'-company and being a clearly maker- (ie. '10'-) marked specimen that came stored in its original 'Zellstoff'-based pouch of issue as found an/or stored for decades. The cross came together with its original, non-confectioned and folded (approx. 19 cms. long) ribbon and was still packed in its neat ('Zellstoff'-based) and reddish-brown coloured, carton pouch when found. The medal is - as stated above - a neat silverish-grey-toned- and typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen that was issued but that was hardly- ie. simply never used. The medal has a nicely preserved age-patina and was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The pouch comes in an equally nicely preserved condition: it is fully functional and complete (and shows the printed makers'-mark of the company 'Foerster & Barth' as was based in the town of Pforzheim on its back). The pouch shows a tiny tear but is still complete and/or functional. Simply a very attractive - and completely 'matching'! - 'Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42'-medal-set that will be very hard to be upgraded!
