This is an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - early-war-period, Austrian HJ- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was specifically issued to commemorate a HJ-related sports-gathering ie. rally that was held in the town of Steyr in the year 1941 being a non-maker-marked example that comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in typical, greyish-toned metal (I deem so-called: zinc- ie. pot-metal) - shows nice detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished: it is just somewhat tarnished by age (as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat larger-sized- and retangular-shaped piece (which is as stated above non-maker-marked) depicts a detailed illustration of an eagle-device, towns'-shield (and 'HJ-Raute') coupled with the above-mentioned text and comes mounted onto its (of course still functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply attractive - and most certainly scarcely encountered! - Austrian, HJ- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'-) related 'tinnie'. I deem that I have priced this attractive - and mid-war-period! - example according to its desirability and/or nicely preserved- and/or fully untouched, condition!
