WH (Heeres) 'Armwinkel' (or: arm-chevron) as executed on typical darker-green-coloured wool as was specifically intended for usage by a soldier with the rank of: 'Obergefreiter'
This is an attractive - and I deem simply never used! - example of a WH (Heeres) 'Armwinkel' (ie.: arm-chevron) as was executed on a typical, darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based background as was intended for usage by a soldier with the rank of: 'Obergefreiter' (ie. private first-class) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem simply never used- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The chevron is neatly executed and shows a double stripe of (bright) silver-coloured- (ie. non-'sub-dued') and/or 'standard'-pattern NCO-braid attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is void of any backing (as can be seen on the pictures). It sounds maybe strange but these 'simple' Heeres-related rank-insignia are quite hard to encounter. Simply an attractive WH-rank-badge that is I deem accordingly priced!
